About The Speakers

Tristan Orford
VP, Total Rewards and M&A at SentinelOne

Tristan joined SentinelOne in 2022. Prior to SentinelOne, he led executive and broad-based compensation at Electronic Arts. Prior to that, he led the global compensation team at Riot Games, building programs and practices during a period of substantial business and headcount growth for the company. Tristan began his career in finance, working in investment banking and private equity before making the transition to the world of total rewards.

Tristan grew up near Portland, Oregon and received his degree in International Political Economy summa cum laude from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. He also holds both the CCP and GRP certifications from WorldatWork.

Tristan and his wife Andrea live near Seattle with their two kids and their dog. When not working, he’s usually either reading, playing games, or enjoying the outdoors - ideally, all of the above!

Charlie Franklin is the Co-founder & CEO of Compa, a VC-backed startup with the mission to make compensation fair and competitive for everyone. Compa delivers software for enterprise talent acquisition and total rewards teams to enter the era of pay transparency. 

Charlie has more than a decade of experience in HR roles, mostly focused on compensation matters. He started his career at Mercer, a leading global HR consulting firm, where he advised on compensation strategy and people analytics to organizations ranging from Fortune 100 financial services companies to government agencies and technology startups. He subsequently led executive compensation and people strategy at Juniper Networks, and most recently led HR M&A and global mobility at Workday prior to founding Compa.
